[ACEsthetics] New Post/Thread Notification: Occlusion

International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) is the science arm of NM TMD.
A great Organization that helps take out the confusion of why NM works as well as it does and to help docs better understand the physiology of what they do every day to patients.
Some of the courses of action that we take with our patients (like simple ortho or even under diagnosing patient's symptoms) can have long term and life threatening consequences. ICCMO strives to bring back the understanding of physiology of the body as it relates to what we see and do as dentists.
Now with everything to do with Dental Physiology or Dental Anatomy that we learned in Dental School decades ago is a dry and somewhat taxing subject. You have to attempt to be sober enough for the morning lectures (unlike ACE meetings) to be able to put in the effort to keep up to some speakers.
But ICCMO makes sure that the speakers are prepped to provide a great lecture on very valuable material that deals with patient's health. You get to hear some of the giants in the TMD world from all over the planet.
ICCMO needs support just like every organization nowadays. It is important that we, as dentists who care about what we do to people, keep current on how we can help or hinder health. Supporting ICCMO is a great way to support NM and learn more about what we do.
