Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Lake Buena Vista FL
Duration: 3+ Months

Summary:
Develops and executes system test plans and test cases for new releases.
May be involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution and will define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs.
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution.
May deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
Participate and coordinate testing aspects of large projects using client server technologies.
Perform and coordinate testing efforts to support development projects and enhancements to production systems.
Minimum 6 years relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Ability to perform across all phases of testing for multiple complex projects; Ability to clearly originate and document test work products and review and contribute to the documentation across multiple projects.
Ability to identify issues and / or opportunities within the scope of the departmentss projects.
Experience with project testing, implementation, and deployment activities that include coordination of activities from more than one team.
The ability to estimate the test work effort for medium to large sized projects.
Lead test teams in the completion of medium to large projects.
Serve as an escalation point for test issues.
Identify strategic tools and processes for improvement across the body of work within assigned team.
Lead on projects across multiple company domains.
Maintains technical skills with current trends in the marketplace.
Proven experience with ITIL best practices for service transition, including service validation and evaluation.
