[ACEsthetics] Rest Peacefully, Esther.

This is the lady who we saw a week ago for a routine oral hygiene visit and passed away at a concert the very next day here in Kittanning. I didn’t know she was 70! <<...>>

We had removed her previously placed Hader bar and overdenture attachments because it made her too ‘gummy’, and we went with a couple new copings and some Locators, about 8 years ago.
I feel terrible that she passed away, however she had a bout with breast CA,  and
she had pemphigus pretty bad. ALWAYS sloughed off tissue under her prosthesis. She had lost one of her implants during her chemo and we recommended to her Friday to add a palate to her upper but she refused. (wonder if she knew time was short?!) She passed away from a massive coronary btw, and NOT the cancer!

She was SO happy with her new overdenture after we tucked the teeth up under her lip, for the past 8 years, and retaining those two natural teeth with the gold copings was I feel the reason why she got by with so few implants!

We will miss this patient terribly. She had a love for animals (especially cats). EVERYone who knew her loved her so much.
