Need GC/GC-EAD/TN/Citizens

Position: JAVA Programmer/Analyst

Location: Tarrytown, NY

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

Position Functions or Responsibilities:

 

The JAVA Programmer/Analyst(s) will be responsible for developing approved Unemployment Insurance Business Requirements. Will be required to conduct, or participate in, some stages of testing.  May be required to develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.

 

Candidates should have:

·         7 years experience in JAVA maintaining and enhancing code either as a developer or analyst

·         7 years experience with JSP and Core Java

·         3 years of developing and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts

·         3 years of Unit, System, Performance, Regression and Acceptance testing in a JAVA environment

·         1+ years of using automated and/or open systems test tools (such as Selenium/Open2 Test, Mantis, Open STA, Salome)

·         3 years experience with Eclipse IDE

·         3 years experience with JSF

 

Desired Skills:

·         Preference will be given to candidates who come from a Maintenance/Enhancement environment

·         Preference will be given to any candidates who also have Natural/Construct experience

·         Experience with testing projects in government

·         Experience in Unemployment Insurance

·         System Modernization / Transformation experience

·         Team Player

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Strong interpersonal skills
