Position: .Net Architect/Lead

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 12 Months

 

Need an Architect / Lead Consultant

 

·         Act as point person / UI architect for centralized Fixed Income trade capture application

·         Develop strong partnerships with users and engineering teams to define the best possible solutions

·         Engaging users to identify requirements, direction, and issues 

·         Work with the latest tools and frameworks to build complex user interfaces, some of which may require you to stretch the boundaries of existing technology sets.

·         Optimize applications to ensure high performance and scale, factoring in aspects such as responsive Web design to cater to a wide array of form factors, including mobile.

·         Write robust code that adheres to defined standards and raises the bar with respect to quality.

 

• Strong .Net (C#) knowledge

• WPF XAML Design

• Experience working with Infragistics

• Strong Multithreading including TPL

• MVVM and UI Design patterns

• Interpersonal skills / good verbal & written skills required to interact with global teams

• Highly motivated, analytical thinking individual

• Strong team player required to work alongside Business Analysts, Users, and Application Programming Group (APG) teams 

• Full confidence to develop and deliver code independently

 

Skills Desired: 

• Perl 

• Working knowledge of Windows IPC

• Experience in designing and deploying mission critical infrastructure software

• Experience supporting distributed systems in a highly complex, high urgency environment

• Knowledge of Fixed Income trading systems 

• Knowledge of Fixed Income operational tasks
