Gita press has already clarified that it is in no financial crisis and it is not seeking any fund from anybody. Present closure is because of some labor trouble and it is expected that soon problem will be sorted out. At this time, I would like to state that this platform is a professional platform for educating , empowering and elevating the management teachers and let it remain at that. It should not be treated as a social platform. I am saying this despite the fact that I am a lifelong member of Gita Press's ,main monthly publication 'Kalyan'.

Dear Friends,
Gitapress Gorakhpur is publishing Bhagawad Gita, Ramcharitmanas and other literature of Indian culture and values for last 90 years. It has contributed for nurturing and developing Indian culture and values. It is distributing millions of copies of great Books and Indian values at around 40 to 80℅ less than cost worldwide.
It is not getting any support/subsidy from government . It is not publishing any advertise as well.
GITA PRESS has now become a symbol of Indian culture, values and promoter of Indian wisdom rather than a publishing house.
However, now a days GITA PRESS itself is in trouble and locked out. Unfortunately the government, so-called social leaders or religious leaders ( dharma ke thekedar) nobody is concern about it

I sincerely feel that as a teachers and as a responsible citizen of India it is responsibility of all of us to start a nation wide movement to save Gitapress and ultimately to save Indian values culture
