Re: BREAKING: COULD THIS MEAN THERE WAS A UNION? MUNA"S DELEGATION TO THE UN IN 1961

Julius, I would rather think that we are here doing the Bafia dance. One step forward and two backwards. We have said several times that we should use all the means available to us to fight this fight but not to create more distractions. Unification as has been proven did not take place or if it did like you purport, you cannot find this in any of three annals of the UN. 1984 was God's gift that triggered all our minds with the help of Fon Dinka to forge ahead in our quest for independence. If we start going back to find out who said what where and when then we are dancing on the same spot if not moving backwards which had pushed every one to the blame game.
If Muna made such a speech how binding could it be on the people of the British Cameroons when he made the speech after the fact? In what capacity did he make the speech? Should that have prompted the UN and the UK. to deny the fraud they perpetrated on an innocent people? Was this address coming from an independent nation?
My brother I think that we have dwelt for so long on these polemics leaving the thief to savour his exploits.
What is our way forward its what should be in our minds not who betrayed who. The UN and the Uk were asking legal infants to sign a contract of union when they knew that such contracts are void for want of capacity. If the same UN/UK could even show proof that these infants entered any such agreement from their records we could buy such argument, but as long as they keep telling us that unification was a done deal with no proofs, we should treat that as a distraction and continue the fight. 1984 might have been a wonderful starting point but not the end of the journey.
