Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Manage projects and work with groups within the IT department.
2.Analyze and recommend solutions, upgrades and services for streamlining and process improvements.
3.Support of hardware/software maintenance to include troubleshooting, installation and upgrades, Tier 3 support.
4.Support multiple locations worldwide (domestic and international travel may be required).
5.Complete IT projects and end user support duties as assigned.
6.Participate in architecture and design of IT projects and methodology.
7.Resolve incidents through effective troubleshooting methodology, Tier 3.
8.Maintain updated documentation while performing essential job duties.
9.Liaison with vendors, partners, and external resources.
10.Assist other analyst with troubleshooting and fulfillment processes.
11.Ability to clearly communicate with coworkers and customers (verbally and in writing).
12.Ability to train staff on technical operations.
13.Technical expertise on the operation, maintenance, management, and deployment of hardware/software.
Role-specific duties and responsibilities:
1.Overall design and stability of the backup/restore and storage infrastructure
2.Creation and maintenance of backup/restore and storage service catalog, technical documentation, and run books
3.Capacity planning and performance analysis of the backup/restore and storage infrastructure

Education and Experience:
Minimum of five years of experience as a subject matter expert in enterprise storage, disaster recovery, and backup/recovery systems required.
Technical SME on the following platforms:
•EMC Networker - required
•EMC Data Domain – required
•EMC VNX - required
•Enterprise NAS platforms – required; EMC Isilon – preferred
•Strong knowledge of virtualization as it relates to storage – required; VMware vSphere 5.1, 5.5, and/or 6 - preferred
