Java with Big Data
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:-
Atleast 8+ years of overall experience with strong and deep knowledge of Java application development
Hands on experience in Java/J2EE, SOA and Oracle platforms
Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data via MapReduce.
Not more than 2 years exp in building and coding applications Using Hadoop Components – HDFS, Hbase, Hive, Kafka, Storm etc.
Not more than 2 years exp in Coding Java MapReduce, Python, Pig Programming, Hadoop Streaming, HiveQL
POSITION #: 2:-
BIG DATA ARCHITECT
Contract = 6 to 8 weeks duration (Can be extended thereafter)
Location = Northbrook, IL
Job Description: Preference would be more an architectural consultant (not a developer), but it would be important for them to have developed Hadoop applications previously or have some experience to guide team.
Skills/Experience:
Experience offloading traditional DataWarehouse data into Hadoop based Big Data Lake
Experience defining & leading Architecture for Large Data Warehouse and/or Data Lakes
Cloudera Stack experience preferred
Hive and/or Impala
Tableau and/or Qlick
Apache Spark
Streaming w/ Kafka or Flume
Previous Python, Java, C#, or Scala (OOP) experience
Sqoop
Pig
