Role- Enterprise Release Deployment Lead

Location- Hillsboro, OR

Enterprise Release Deployment Lead Responsibilities

Develop and maintain release deployment plans to support enterprise releases
Collaborate with multiple Technical and Functional teams
Act as escalation point for any release deployment issues or needs
Ensure all changes are visible to and approved by appropriate stakeholders.
Be a driving force for constantly improving performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, availability, and usability of the release deployment process
Publish key metrics on the efficiency and effectiveness of release deployment
As a member of the Technology Change & Release (CRM) team, act as a Launch Coordinator for the deployment of enterprise releases with the ability to work at nights and weekends when needed

· Exhibit a high level of individual initiative

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

· DevOps and/or Release Engineering experience desired

· Project management experience is a plus

Requirements:

The ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to meet tight deadlines

· Ability to understand complex systems with multiple dependencies

· Understanding of business impact translated to systems thinking

· Some technical background desired (especially related to Release Engineering and/or DevOps; release and/or environment management)

· Project Management skills desired

· Strong communication skills preferred

Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external team members
Ability to consult with senior peers to learn through experience and be able to retain and apply items learned

· Experience coordinating and running environment planning meetings

· Ability to troubleshoot and maintain sense of urgency

Ability to work flexible schedule and may be required to work additional hours, as needed to support work loads

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field, with 2 years of additional experience required in lieu of a degree

5 years professional experience with at least 3 years in project or release management

· 3 years of IT experience in a corporate environment

· 3 years of DevOps or Release Engineering experience preferred

Proven understanding of environment management, software configuration management
Experience implementing software projects into complex production environments

· Understanding of environment management, software configuration management

· Excellent written and oral skills important, including presenting to groups desired
