Teachers strike continues on Monday, transporters and traders to join

After a long day's deliberations at the Ntamulung Church Centre, leaders of Teachers Trade Unions considered some of the 'gifts' from the Prime Minister and concluded that they were not clear enough for them to suspend the strike, talk less of calling it off.
Taking and analysing each point and pointing out where clarifications are needed the press release issued thereafter concluded:
"In the meantime, the indefinite strike action which started on 21 November 2016 will continue until satisfactory answers are given to all the issues raised or identified so far. Nevertheless, the Ad hoc Committee can get to work next week while waiting for these clarifications to be made."
In a related development, the Northwest Traders and Drivers' Union made their own declaration on the strike. after pouring their litany of problems these business professionals among other demands called on the government to immediately redress the problems tabled by the traders of the various markets to the city Council and other issues tabled by the various business unions of the region to the administration"
Verbally the business professionals through their spokesperson, Mawum Joe, promised that from Monday 5th December, no taxi or any form of transport will be found, on the streets in Bamenda, even interurban transport. One of the leaders threatened hell to whoever would want to breach the order.
The lawyers had also been given a chance at the meeting and they proffered some legal advice and some misunderstanding between the teachers unions and the lawyers was resolved.
On a personal note I would like to call upon all of us to pray very hard as the devil is against us.. We are not dealing with a god-fearing adversary and ONLY powerful prayers will set us free.
