Title: Microstrategy Administrator Lead
Location: Framingham, MA
Duration: 3 years contract
Job Description:
• Administering Microstrategy Web server, Application Server and Narrowcast Server.
• Handling project creation and duplication.
• Setting up ODBC connection, DB Instance and configuring it to project.
• Performing Object migration and handling the Automated process of Object Migration using System Manger Workflow.
• Creating and managing the users, Security Groups and Security Roles
• Maintaining project and object level security according to organizational standards.
• Changing the project configurations and web preferences to provide the solution to technical issues.
• Monitoring the system using Enterprise Manager and using the statistics information to manage the load on schedule, memory utilization
• Handling user licenses at project sources, monitoring the user's activity and cleaning up the inactive users
• Manage I-cubes and caches and troubleshooting the issue
• Creating Schedule, providing the access and different type of subscriptions,
• Creating Narrowcast Static and Dynamic Services, subscriptions and troubleshooting on any report delivery issue or narrowcast configuration issues.
• Working with vendor and enabling Diagnostic logs, Web logs, XML Logs, Fiddler logs, traces, changing the system registry in I-Server to find the root cause of technical problems
• Changing the password for database connectivity and Admin account.
• Upgrading the Microstrategy applications and updating license Key in the environment
• Administering change management procedures to database connectivity password change, Admin password change, job migration on Tidal environment
• Expertise in Developing various Data Usage reports/dashboards.
• Good Exposure in app compilation using iMAC.
• Exposure to client interaction, user-requirement analysis and user support.
• Hands on experience in Report service document creation and Dashboards.
• Should also have experience in customer handling and team management.
