The funeral programme for the late Bishop of Bafia,  Monseigneur Jean-Marie Benoit Bala initially scheduled for Wednesday, June 14, 2017, has been cancelled and postponed indefinitely, following Vatican's request the Biya regime and his government provides details o what truly happened to the prelate.
The Holy See wants to know the truth, the circumstances lead to the death of the late prelate and the ins and outs of this villainous and heinous crime.With this, Vatican puts the Cameroon head of state and his government in a tight corner and according to the constitution, it is the duty of the Head of State to monitor and ensure the internal and external security of the country.
According to Vincent Sosthene Fouda, President of Cameroon Social Movement, dissing this information, the funeral programme of the late Prelate will continuously be postponed until the Vatican receives a satisfying report.
The Catholic has already lost FOUR Bishops in AFRICA who were assassinated with three of them from LRC and one from Congo Brazzaville, who was executed on March 23, 1977, after the overthrow and assassination of Marien NgoabiPresident of the Congo on March 18, 1977.
In 1988. Bishop Jean Nkunu of Mbalmayo was assassinated on the 3rd September 1991, His Lordship Emeritus Archbishop Yves Plum of Garoua was assassinated and recently on June 2, 2017, Bishop Jean-Marie Benoit Bala of Bafia.
The president of Cameroon Social Movement Sosthene Fouda ( a beti) condemned the act and called on all Cameroonians to be conscious so as to avoid what happened in Burundi in 1966.
