Thanks Professor Pratapji for sharing the 6Ds (causes) of fall resulting into disengagement.
The Shloka from Geeta needs to be understood, however, in a real sense.
- Oh! Bharat, whenever there is a fall in Dharma, I (the Lord) re-incarnates for re-installation of Dharma.
- Shall we wait and suffer till such incarnation appear?
- God is omnipotent and omniscient and dwells in you and I. If it is so, then why to wait for re-incarnation. One takes the reigns in one's hand and overcomes the problem. That is what is done exactly by the so called re-incarnation. Is it not so?

DENIAL(no sense of living life),DIGITISATION(extreme tech),DISCONNECT(no contact with others),DISINTEGRATION(no self worth)...
resulting DISENGAGEMENT !

यदा यदा ही धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत ! अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानम सृज्याहम !!

It would be an interesting topic to revisit and refine the student engagement methods resulting better outcome.
