Re: [MTC Global] No NET , No Ph.D. Admission

No one is concentrating on jobs senario whether industry or academics.

It also appears that entrepreneurship is also being promoted on papers.

Only work bereaucrats have is how to reduce number of applications and subsequent qualified applicants.

This means whatever learned and being taught was of no requirement. It is something which applicant has failed to achieve or his stars are not in position.

Basic need is to improve job prospects which has to be all pervasive and developmental with value enhancement leading to creations of products and services demanded in society.

Entrepreneurship should be prompted and promoted not just on papers but in reality.

Just saying education sector and it's participants not upto mark is not just. They all outcome of past plannings. They will perform as told to do. Otherwise they lose jobs which themselves are making difficult to meet two ends. Forget promotions, enhancement, increments, etc. It's continuation of job which is in question. In many institutions salaries are being paid after one / two / three / four / etc. late. Increments not coming. Is anyone checking. No one is.

Then why teaching community to suffer?

Net or no net, question is what has been achieved by having net. Answer is nothing. Only created another benchmark to clear.

How many more benchmarks are in pipeline. Time will tell. Some more coming. By that time life will get over. But no promotions, no increments, no fixed jobs, no retirement benefits, though on papers all are there.

Thanks,

NEW DELHI: Big-bang education reform is on its way – the Modi government is all set to scrap the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and replace them with one higher education regulator, tentatively christened Higher Education Empowerment Regulation Agency (HEERA).
