Re: An Assessment of the Strike Action in West

Some parts look lucid but in all it is quite a reproduction of stuff that LRC propagandists have been flooding the social media with recently. All it seeks is a return to school even at all cost even without guarantees about the quality of education our children receive. The cause is not invalidated by the number of Anglophone school proprietors and teachers in French Cameroon who chose to betray, nor that of the so-called rich ones who relocated their children. If ever things improve as a result of our persistence, the same will fly back to reap the benefits. Remember that the people who were doused with water canons for advocating the creation of the the GCE Board were not the ones appointed to run it (except Azong Wara).

An excellent assessment of the crisis and strike action as well as proposal for the way forward until solutions acceptable to the Anglophone community are worked out. The courts and educational institutions can resume in September while the strike action continues to be observed by all (including the courts and educational institutions) in the NW and SW, on Mondays and particular days, until all detained because of the crisis are released unconditionally, until the common law and educational systems are fully reestablished, and an acceptable form of state that guarantees autonomy for Anglophone state is worked out at a conference at which the UN and AU representatives attend as observers.

It is some time now that a crusade has been put in place for classes to resume in West Cameroon for the next academic year 2017/2018. The experience of the last academic year 2016/2017 is unberable to all affected parents in Cameroon and we should all be saying that such an experiment is over. SEE ATTACHMENT
