Lt. Col. Mvondo Chases Away Mamfe Chief from Reception

Lt. Col. Mvondo Chases Away Mamfe
       Paramount Chief from Reception

The feral arrogance, uncouth and terrorist behaviour of Lt. Col. Mvondo Nkomo Jean
of the 22nd Notarised Infantry Batallion, Mamfe, Manyu division has crossed
bounds this time -- going far too far -- up to the extent of chasing away the
Manyu Paramount Chief, Dr. Godson Oben from the reception of the Inauguration
of the new Mamfe
Council Chambers.

The megalomaniac Colonel's first target was Mr. Ako ABUNAW, National Communications
Secretary of People's Action Party, PAP. Mr. Abunaw, who had been officially invited to
the said ocassion to represent PAP party hierarchy was sitting in the reception hall when
the almighty colonel walked straight to his direction and ordered him to leave the hall. A
calm, smiley but hesitant Abunaw found himself on the floor after the rude colonel pulled
away his seat from behind while onlookers wondered in panick what had come over the
colonel.

The raging and furious-looking colonel, as if under the influence of some (God alone knows!),
stormed towards the entrance to the hallway and stumbled on Chief Godson Oben, the Paramount
Chief of Manyu. Fuming and shouting on the top of his voice, he ordered the chief to leave
the premises or else ....! Rumours have it that the two men do not see eyeball to eyeball and the
colonel may have planned to use the event to disgrace the chief. The embarrassed chief simply
put his tail inbetween his legs, invited his colleagues and cowed away in his own land!

All of this drama took place in the presence of many VIPs as eyewitnesses
including but not limited to Mr. Jean Pierre Kwende, the Commissioner of Public Security, Mamfe;
Mr. Eyong, the Company Commander of the Gendarmerie, Mamfe; Mr. Peter Tiende, Manyu SDO
(the lone anglophone SDO in English speaking Cameroon), all his assistants and all the D.Os of the sub-
divisions of Akwaya, Eyumojock, Mamfe Central and Upper Bayng; Mr. Ayuk Taku Nchong, the Lord
Mayor of the Mamfe Rural Council.

It would be important to recall that on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at about 10:15 PM local time at
the compound of Mr. Ako Abunaw, Abunaw Lodge, John Halt Street, Mamfe town, Lt. Col. Mvondo
Nkomo Jean  as if at a war front, invaded the premises of Mr. Abunaw with more than twenty heavily
armed soldiers. He physically assaulted Mr. Abunaw and provoked him to a fight. Mr. Abunaw has since
filed a civil suit against the colonel at the Mamfe High Court. The case has since been ajourned four
times with a restraining order from the court forbidding the brutal colonel from coming any close
to Mr. Abunaw by not less than 100 meters. The Friday December 7, 2012 incident has had the colonel
grossly violate the court's order. The public is the more eager to see what happens in court on Thursday,
December 13 as the case comes up once again.

Effective, efficient and rigorous training does not constitute issuing subservient roles; rather, it involves sitting side by side on the round table for policy and decision making and thorough brainstorming on the normative values that undergird progressive issues. Ayah Paul of PAP takes great pleasure in working with the youths. I am proud to work with him..." Akoson A. Raymond.

Subject: [Manyunet] TERROR IN MAMFE

TERROR IN MAMFE

- Mr. Ako Abunaw prepares to drag Lt. Col. Mvondo to court. Seeks financial support;

- Lt. Col. Mvondo continues his acts of terror and insanity unabated. It is even alleged the colonel in question rapes young girls and threatens them.

Is Lt. Col. Mvondo Jean Marie, commander of the 22nd Infantry Motorised Brigade, Mamfe, South West region a terrorist in military clothing?

The basic textbook definition of a terrorist is someone who carries out surprise attacks involving the deliberate use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians to attain goals that are political or religious in nature through intimidation, coercion or instilling fear.
On Thursday, February 23, 2012 at about 10:15 PM local time at the compound of Mr. Ako Abunaw, Abunaw Lodge, John Halt Street, Mamfe town, Lt. Col. Mvondo Jean Marie as if at a war front, invaded the premises of Mr. Abunaw with more than twenty heavily armed soldiers. He physically assaulted Mr. Abunaw, provoked him to a fight and referring to he (Mr. Abunaw's) militancy with AYAH Paul's People's Action Party, PAP, the notoriously brutal Col. Mvondo, stating in his own words, "I will make sure I terminate your activities in this town". The assault that finally culminated with the 23rd of February incident had three preceding phases:

- AYAH Paul's posters on Mr. Abunaw's veranda walls were torn;

- The Mamfe Gendarmerie Brigade Commander, simply known as Raphael went into Mr. Abunaw's home to request whether or not there was an illegal PAP meeting. He was embarrassed by the response;

- Leaders of the Manyu bus drivers on strike who'd sent a memorandum to the SDO were severely assaulted physically by the SDO for copying PAP chairman;

- The Feb. 23rd incident at the Abunaw residence.

The next day, February 24, a peaceful loving Ako Abunaw wrote a complaint to the Manyu SDO, Kamsu Patrick Simo (a man notorious for selling lands to multiple buyers and whom, Mr. Abuna claims has sold his land to someone else) and is yet to receive a reply. However, the Intelligence Unit of PAP's strategic team uncovered that the SDO has had a series of high profile meetings on the brutal colonel's assault. He, the SDO distanced himself from current widespread rumour that Col. Mvoggo was acting on his instructions.

Mr. Abunaw with the help of PAP and barrister Ishi Daniel Aken has vowed to file a civil suit at the High Court of Manyu judicial division where he hopes to claim damages worth several millions and pray the court for an order of perpetual injunction against the ruthless colonel and his agents from further acts tantamount to infringement of his fundamental human rights.
Mr. Ako Abunaw bumped into the colonel at the Mamfe Central Park on March, 5 who, in very harsh tone said he (the colonel) had heard of Mr. Abunaw's report to the SDO and a law suit in process. He drummed his chest, bragging that he is Mr. Biya's brother and nothing will happen to him.

Meanwhile, it is alleged in several quarters that the said colonel is heavily involved in beating up of his fellow military men, and engages in forceful acts of sexual intercourse with young Manyu girls promising them hell should they report, and claiming that he is the younger brother of Mr. Biya and he is an untouchable.

Such insane, unconscionable, brutal, inhuman acts of the likes of Col. Mvondo cannot stop if we stay in complicity by refusing to act.

Mr. Ako Abunaw has opened a fund and seeks support from all concerned Cameroonians. Hear him, "…We would have done our conscience good by exhausting all legal procedures to seek justice. Should the courts fail to do justice, the revolution to weed out this dictatorship will start from Mamfe. I seek support from all Cameroonians concerning the Mvondo case…"

You can contact Mr. Ako Abunaw directly through phone: (00237) 79 73 05 75.

Please, find attached photos of Lt. Col. Mvondo and Mr. Abunaw.
