Is mercury a significant contributor to autism and other neurodegenerative conditions?
I have argued strongly that autism like Lyme is multifactorial but that does not mean mercury is not a significant contributor to autism and all degenerative brain diseases. It is just that if the car you purchase has 100,000 miles on it and you notice that it also has four flat tires, obviously fixing the flats helps rehabilitate or restore the car but that does not mean you can ignore the brakes, battery, radiator, engine, shocks, etc. Perhaps limping along at 5 miles per hour without any oil in the crankcase and no brakes is better than sitting still in the garage, but why not try to fix all of it?
My FIGHT program is an acronym to help you educate your patients that just because you get out all the heavy metals and stop the dairy, wheat and sugar does not mean you have restored optimal health. The food, infection, genetics, heavy metals/hormones, toxins are there to help us broaden our approach to anyone with a chronic degenerative disease.
Please remember at all times Clair Patterson at Cal Tech finds 1000 times more lead in every bone at birth than any bones just 700 years ago so a negative test for lead proves little or nothing. We are all heavy metal challenged ; with some it is harder to find than others so go to Harvard and do non-invasive bone lead studies, as they do for their research papers on bone lead and cataracts in JAMA.
Since autistic children fail to excrete mercury or other heavy metals into their hair leading to a false negative reading on hair analysis, what other tests also can be totally misleading when the real diagnosis is heavy metals of one kind or another, usually a group is present. We then have to deal with hypersensitivity to metals, as shown on the Melissa test. This test is available in Europe and USA. Recently this test was used to cure ovarian and prostate cancer tests by Dr Pot in Vienna as presented Feb27 at the www.acimconnect.com conference in Long Beach. That talk was videotaped and will be available from ACIMCONNECT. It showed an amazing 100 successes in a detox program dealing with prostate and ovarian cancers when a simple laser was used to help increase the bodies ATP levels in poorly functioning cells.
This could be a huge breakthrough for all detox programs, as lasers are a lot less expensive than $21,500 PEMF devices, which clearly help autism, as well as other degenerative neurological disease. We know that PEMF and lasers are both effective in raising ATP and transmembrane potential in poorly functioning cells. We all need to learn much more for the sake of our patients and ourselves.
With mercury how can there be a safe level when it is everywhere and so are lead and the latest toxin, aluminum. Both of those metals are reported to increase the toxicity of mercury by 100 fold so who does not have at least some mercury issues. Please be aware then that there really is no way to tell someone that detoxification is finished; it is a lifetime challenge, as long as we continue eating and breathing.
200 IV's of EDTA do not move out the bone lead. That requires catching the lead, as the bone turns over slowly over 15 years. When you realize that Zeolite and high dose C along with oral EDTA consumed daily for 15 years will neutralize the adverse effects of toxic heavy metals even if it takes 15 years for the bones to totally remodel. So by definition any program followed for less than 15 years on a daily basis has not neutralized all the lead and any lead makes even tiny amounts of mercury dangerous.
Then some day learn about the 5 components of what I call my Power Drink and why zeolite is such a powerful partial answer to these toxins like mercury along with the rest of the ingredients. The oral chelation patients will do remarkably well, as long as they do not stop the program. There is no way to empty bone lead in less than 7 years of daily chelation and oral EDTA has been proven by 507 published references in the industrial medicine literature to keep lead workers lead levels low enough that they are permitted to continue to work even though exposed daily to lead. All of us are today due to the burning of coal and the slow release of bone lead that we are born with, which was dumped from our mother's body during pregnancy into us.
