JOB Description

The role is for an experienced C# developer in the Software Services development team to further advance existing ticket capture software for several trading desk. The client software is developed in C# on .NET 2.0,

 

Role

The Software Services team develops and supports application frameworks and some associated trading  applications The software architecture is a blend of C#/.Net winforms client applications and Unix-based C++ servers providing the following functionality:

·         Pricing Analytics,

·         Position Management,

·         Electronic Markets,

·         Trade Capture,

·         Realtime Pricing,

·         Historical Charting

This role will be focused on further development of the ticket capture components in the trading application.    Additionally, it is important that the application retains a reasonable memory footprint, is fast and responsive, and well set up for further customizations.

 

Must have Skills

·         Solid C# application GUI/Winforms development (not web or server)

·         Front Office Development experience

·         Real-time, multi-threading experience

·         Sound knowledge of OO methodology

·         Building and using client frameworks/containers

Useful Skills:

·         Experience working with position management, bucketing, or risk systems

·         Fixed Income Business Knowledge (Bonds, Swaps)

·         Basic Unix knowledge (for starting servers for testing/etc)
