Position : SR Oracle Engineer
Location: Norcross, GA (Outside of Atlanta)
Duration: 1yr
Start: ASAP
Positions: 1
 
NOTE: Skills Need:
·         Must have at least 10+ years’ experience working as an Oracle DBA, in an enterprise environment.
·         Must have Certification in Oracle 11g through 12i or experience will also suffice. In all modules a big plus.
·         Must have recent experience developing and troubleshoot shell/Perl scripts.
·         Must have experience with RMAN and backup processes and procedures.
·         Must have recent experience of Unix/Linux operating system environments. Solaris, Debian, Ubuntu and some Redhat experience.
·         Must have strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL up to the latest versions.
·         Must have strong experience with DDL in Oracle.
·         Must have experience with Disaster Recovery requirements and processes; specifically.
·         Must have ‘Recent’ experience with Oracle Data Guard.
·         Must have experience with Oracle performance tuning.
·         Experience with capacity planning as it pertains to databases.
·         Experience supporting development teams by promoting database applications and code in cooperation with software change manager.
·         Experience creating, analyze and troubleshoot queries.
·         Experience providing 7x24 on-call support.  
·         Comfortable in a fast-paced high-energy environment with strong personal composure and crisis-management skills.
·         Working knowledge of tools used in conjunction with system monitoring such as Oracle Enterprise Manager.
