• 10+ years of experience in data modeling and application DBA in SQL Server environment
• Create and maintain logical and physical data model design for enterprise data-warehouse, data marts and other analytical applications
• Create and maintain physical data models with SQL Server data bases
• Creation and maintenance of data dictionary for data models
• Ensure standardization of data elements across CDC programs, where applicable
• Conducting data profiling and data analysis on source and target systems
• Implement physical data model into software platform
• Periodically assess database, system and storage rationalization across all solutions
• Help design and manage data replication
• Perform database maintenance and assist IT Services with platform upgrades and maintenance
• Work with stakeholders to understand, derive, and harmonize data variables, data model structure and needs, and use of the data models within the software
• Create tables, views, procedures, triggers and other database objects
• Ensure data requirements are clearly defined and consistent with solution objectives
• Assist with data discovery and storage planning
• Lead / participate in planning activities, architectural reviews, development, design, and implementation of the data model into the platform
• Assist System DBAs with issue resolution and monitoring
