Hadoop Architect - NYC

 

Role       : Hadoop Architect

Location: NYC

Duration: 1 year

 

The candidate must be local, requires face to face interviews.

Skills & Requirements:

- Experience with business requirement gathering and analysis
- Understanding of business analysis for dimensional data models
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data architecture
- Experience with evaluating and implementing Hadoop technologies
- Experience with Data Warehousing Modeling concepts
- Experience with creating Enterprise Information Management strategies
- Experience with creating Data Governance policies and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate strategies to corporate leadership.
- Working Experience with OBIEE 11g (prefer 11.1.1.7 +)
- Experience with Informatica and Oracle Data Integrator
- Experience with Meta Data Management
- Experience with Data Virtualization
- Tools experience: Erwin 9.x, Excel, OBIEE
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Able to handle multiple assignments
- Familiar with industry methodologies such as ITIL and Six Sigma
- Able to mentor team members on data architecture and information management
- Process oriented
- Experience with large project implementations
