Max Rate: $45/hr on C2C

 
Job Description:
• Design business intelligence, data warehousing, and analytical applications on multiple platforms, software packages and tools.
• Experienced with the full implementation life cycle of the technical components of a business intelligence solution.
• Skills should include a broad range of technical areas including BI tool selection, data architecture, database administration, ETL (extract/transform/load), testing, reporting, integration and BI architecture.
• IBM Data manager experience is required. The candidate should have solid experience with data warehouse development and technologies and the ability to trouble shoot problems, think analytically, and solve problems. Good communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations at the developer level are essential.
• Experienced in DB Design including schema, data modeling and writing of complex SQL's.
• Working experience in agile SDLC, continuous Integration and continuous deployment. Fluent with Business Intelligence multi-dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experienced in HPQC/ALM.
• Experienced with change release management validation processes.
• Ability to conduct requirements gathering with internal customers, quickly understand the business processes and translate them into technical documentation.
• Create and update technical documentation using high level technical specification documents.
• Create unit test plans and verify that the unit test results are as expected.
• Experienced as a team player throughout the complete life cycle of the projects including but not limited to development, SDLC documentation, change request process, hyper-care and closure of the project.
• Other responsibilities to include enhancement, performance tuning, support of existing applications, project coordination and prioritization.
• Experienced in supporting internal customers during UAT testing. Activities during this phase would include monitoring of jobs, troubleshooting job failures, and working with source teams to identify testing scenarios and design training.
• Experienced with the following tools and environments: Cognos BI Series 10/8.3/8.4, Report Net, Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Power Play 7.3, OLAP, Transformer 8.3/7.3, Impromptu, Access Manager, Decision stream, Data Manager, Windows XP/2003, PL/SQL, Oracle 11i/10g/9i/8i, MS SQL Server, TOAD, SQL Developer, VB Scripting and  HPQC/ALM.
