Dear Sir, I feel that as the global giants scale up in business they form many
autonomously run businesses within the company. These smaller companies ( SBU ) are
fully autonomous and a person knowing the business processes of the company is capable
of heading the business unit.And finally the entire company. It operates in the same way
as syndicated operations run in a common cultural context. One of the members mentioned
that there is lot to learn how the criminal gangs operate organized crime. The same
model would perhaps hold for these large global companies.
