Position: BI Engineer

Location: Spokane, WA

Domain: Energy

Interview mode: 1 Phone, 1 Skype

Duration: 6 months + almost certain extension

We are sending this out to EVERYONE due to the urgency. Please only submit your best! We will select the 3 best consultants tomorrow afternoon to send to our direct end client. They will be interviewed by the end of the week and will start immediately after confirmation.

This is a contract opportunity in Spokane, WA.  

What you will be doing:

• Planning and conducting development work on complex projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches.
• Translating business requirements into data models that drive data warehouse or data mart design and configuration.
• Acting as the technical lead on projects.
• Provide 24x7 support to ensure availability of BI environments for internal and external users.

What you need to succeed:

• BS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) required
• Strong experience with Informatica required minimum 3+ years
• Strong ETL mapping skills required
• Minimum 5+ years overall work experience as a technical contributor in an IT setting.
• Minimum 3+ years experience implementing enterprise-scale reporting systems 
• Strong knowledge of how to create complex reports (ex: drill down reports) using cursors and multi-dimensional objects. 
• Strong communication skills - strong presentation, communication, and facilitation (both oral and written).
