Required Skills:

Solaris - LDOM technology, v 10 and 11. VLAN Trunking on 'Solaris Box, ZFS using MPXIO & Veritas Vol Management, veritas cluster.

 

Linux: Redhat, volume Manager, v. 5&6, Vol Manager using redhat linux

 

Nice to have: linux virtualization and high availability

 

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Linux Redhat Administrator to join our team on a critical OS update project.

Job Description:

Perform the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of computer systems with UNIX and/or Linux operating systems. Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems on UNIX and/or Linux operating systems. May be responsible for script writing. Conducts tasks and assignments as directed. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

Responsibilities:

Work to convert physical Linux boxes to virtual machines. There will also be the responsibility of moving to supported versions of these OS's.
