Job Description:

Java Web App Developer

12 month contract (fully funded and approved for 12 months but they renew every 3 months)

Project Background and Day to Day:

• They will be working on the Recommendations team
• The recommendations team will be moving forward on new features, but they need someone else to work on defects/old features
• This person will be working with the lead to build new big data infrastructure to support the team working on new features (that's the big selling point--working on the big data infrastructure)

This person

• Full stack developer
• Has a HUGE interest in Big Data--they might not have the experience but they are interested, self taught, or have taken classes

Required Skills and Technology:

• Front end services
• Java
• REST Services
• JQuery
• REST
• Spring

Plus--Retail experience, creative thinker, and leader
