Mr Edimo,

Thanks for your effort in making people see the importance of of the forests in the areas mentioned.

I wish to suggest that the appeal for support in cash and kind, should be addressed to all Southern Cameroonians and friends. The forests concerned, make up a huge geographical space of Southern Cameroons. I call for cash contribution because a number of good Lawyers have been struggling to  defend the native lands against heartless and strong persons and companies with vested economic interest. As the companies activities impact directly on the indigens of the project zone, they equally affect the entire Country of The Southern Cameroons.
The fight therefore, is the liberation of the Southern Cameroons. Let us all join the struggle.

Subject: [cameroon_politics] Join the Campaign to stop land grabbing in the Southwest Region of Cameroon

Please join the oroko, Bakosi/Nguti and Bayang indigenous people of Ndian, Kupe Nwaniguba and Manyu division of the Southwest Region respectively to let the world know that land grabbing in the aforementioned areas is detrimental to the culture of the people, the livelihood the have known for generations and it is disastrous to environment.
That destruction of one of the oldest rainforests in Africa for monoculture cultivation of Palm trees is an environmental disaster for the people of the affected area and for the world.
Please be part of this Campaign by sending emails, fax, making telephone calls and writing to all the contacts listed in campaign as per link below.
Remember that the Land is the only value treasure these indigenous people have to hand to their children. If they give it up to corporate colonizers, they must have betrayed the future generation, killed their culture and enslaved their offspring to work in plantations.
