Dear Esteeemed MTCians,
Presently I am facing catch 22 situatiom in making a decision and need your ennobling guidance.
I have joined PhD programme at FMS, BHU, Varanasi in March, 2012 batch. Now I also got shortlisted for an FPM (2012_16), programme in Marketing from IIFM (Indian Institute of Forest Managememt), Bhopal.
With these two options which one will offer a better prospect ?
As I came to know that FPM programme does not qualify to be doctoral degree to get into the UGC and its Universities as faculty. And thus I am afraid if I go for IIFM and quit BHU. Is it true ? If it is so what about FPM from IIMs.
There is no question on quality and rigour of FPM still such policy hurdles impedes me to take a decision.
I hope to get valuable inputs from learned mtcians which will help me take more rational decision. I will wait for the response.
