Mainly, he maintains that if the US was in such bad shape, why would the rest of the world be clamoring to 1. move here, 2. buy from US companies and 3. invest here?

 

With all of the economic progress of India, China and Brazil, our average income here in the US is THREE times that of any of those countries!

 

There are a lot of reasons why doom and gloom gets press- from political opportunism to media hysteria, but when you look at the state of the recovery- things are going pretty well, even if all of that wealth hasn't yet filtered down to my office! A lot of this has to do with MY outlook, MY attitude. Just think about the difference between an slow- below average month where you see no prospects for improvement, and then when five new patients come in, needing great amounts of care, and asking for it- see how that picks up your mood? Just like when Mark Dilatush says that the tsunami of dental patients hits us the next few years, after deferring maintenance and repair- things will get better! 

 

I am really excited about this book, and I hope you will get the chance to take a look at it.
