There are 2 positions. One is in NYC and the other one is in Buffalo, NY. F2f interview is required for both positions and the interview can be either in NYC or in Buffalo NY. I need local candidates only who are currently in NYC, NJ or Buffalo NY area. I will consider non-local candidates if they are willing to come to f2f interview after phone screen.
I need someone who is familiar with liquidity reporting within global markets products.
Position (1) Sr. Business Analyst – NYC, 6 months,
Position (2) Business Analyst – Buffalo, NY, 6 months,
The Job Holder will work as part of a central project team to support the implementation of the global liquidity reporting infrastructure and the processes around it.
Areas of particular focus for this role are as follows:
-Defining functional requirements for the development of extracts from multiple source systems.
-Working with the technology infrastructure teams to develop the requirements into technical design strategies.
-Once the technical design and build has been completed in the application, the job holder will be responsible for designing the testing strategies as well as executing these strategies during the user acceptance testing phase of the project.
-During the final phases of the project, the job holder will be responsible for the parallel run that once successful, will be transitioned into production reporting process.
-Over the course of the project the job holder will be responsible for developing a comprehensive suite of documentation as well as building a training plan that will be handed over to the operations team once the implementation has been completed
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-In depth prior experience in Banking products (both on & off balance sheet), particularly the liquidity aspects inherent in each product.
-Good general experience and familiarity with Bank balance sheets and business activities.
-High level analysis skills, including the ability to look at the bigger picture and interpret data & trends in the context of business, macro-economic or Regulatory drivers, as well as the ability to work quickly & accurately to tight deadlines
Previous exposure to Regulatory Reporting and particularly how it relates to new liquidity reporting requirements of the various global regulatory bodies.
-The ability & confidence to interact with senior management, both within the ALM team and in product areas
-Excellent communication and influencing skills, including high level report writing & presentation abilities
-Graduate and Professional qualification holder (CFA or MBA) or, significant work experience which indicates capability at this level. -Well developed system skills, ideally the ability to work with large databases and including the ability to write complex queries in Access, SQL, etc.
-Experience with third party vendor application systems, ideally QRM or FinArch
