RE: [ACEsthetics] Sedated patients cooperation

Use a mouth jack. You can ratchet it open as wide as you want.

Subject: [ACEsthetics] Sedated patients cooperation

Just had a patient who did the ‘little pill’ before he came in for several units.
He was almost asleep the whole appointment. And we only gave him ONE .5 mg of Triazolam!
He’s not a tiny guy, but HOW do people get dental work done when they’re half freaking asleep!? How can we do the very best dentistry, occlusion, margins..preps, when they’re continually closing down or not following instructions!?
TOUGH case! Ug!
I don’t like sedated patients! He’s a good friend of mine too..I’ve known him for many years..
