Thank you once again. This was in response to Prof. Bholanath's posting that what makes a good leader is much of born than bred. I believe that there is a leader in every one and one has to play a leadership role in life one or the other time, may be to lead even a small group of 2, what makes a leader of masses is a growth over time depending on the opportunities one get and as you said what choices he/she makes at that given point of time.

Dwelling a little in politics, when Indira Gandhi was made Prime Minister the king makers of  that time had thought that they had a puppet in hand even international politicians thought that she could be manipulated but ultimately she proved to be strongest prime minister this country ever had post-independence (this is besides whether one agrees with her policies and actions or one loves or hates her).

Dear Virendra,   Leader has two dimensions one is the trait and the other the choice but the texture and the chemistry of the trait can also be changed through a consistent choice. Salim Ali gives a beautiful example like playing cards. What types of cards you get is a trait but how you play is your choice. Then what decides the game, is it the cards you get? or how you play the game? So the answer is the combination of both but it is ultimately the choice in the long run.
