Job Title:         Teradata Senior Developer
Location:         Irwindale, CA
Duration:         6+ Months

 

Onsite senior Teradata developer with very good hands-on experience on core Teradata, fair understanding of ETL using DataStage.

 

Teradata Database V13

- Creation and maintenance of stored procedures as well as table, view

- Develop/Enhance Data Load scripts and Unload scripts using utilities such as fast load, Multi load and BTEQ

- Develop/Enhance/Debug complex Teradata SQL

- Hands-on experience developing and implementing database performance measures (i.e. table partitioning, indexing, etc).at database and scripts level).

- Previous experience with CDC and Datastage.  Development experience with these tools is not required. However, a clear understanding and working knowledge is preferred.

 

*   Ramp Up: Must be able to come up to speed on business/process knowledge via KT sessions from various members of Project and Maintenance teams.

* Communication skills - Should have clear communication, with good English fluency Good documentation skills
