The Southern Cameroons palava is a legitimate issue founded on
international law. It is not "secession" as some people want it to be.
Unlike the South Sudan, Eritria and Somalia states which emerged from
years of secessionist wars because they were part of their original
national territories at independence but the British Southern
Cameroons is fighting a justified and legitimate struggle after
successive years of abuse of Trust, Constitutional fraud or coup, and
the persistent attempts to totally assimilate, annex, submerge or wipe
away one party to a socalled " Union Agreement" by unilaterally and
unconstitutionally changing the wordings of the 1961 Federal
Constitution against art.47 of the said document, that protected the
status of the two cameroons and face by systematic and persistent
attempts through "decrets" and unjusfied legislations inorder to
continuously oppress, suppress and control the territory and people
of British Southern Cameroons. This fight is for ourselves, our
families, our children and our children's children, so God help us!
