The Pelican has been abandoned to rot at the old airport here in
Douala. I can still see it as I write to you. An engineer with former
CAMAIR told me, some 10 years ago, that the plane was grounded for
something that could not cost more than100 million FCFA to repair.

A progressive may think of investing 100 millions FCFA and later on
selling the aircraft but not the Cameroon of Mishe Fon who runs his
mouth with talks of "Biya-phobic Delirium Schizophrenia". As if to say
he Mishe Fon will dump his Porsche car just because of a spare part
that cost FCFA 500 000.
