With reference to the competencies of MBA faculty, I would like to share some of my experiences:

According to me, an MBA faculty should be good at the following things.
1. He should have updated knowledge about the industrial happenings.
2. Able to connect theoritical concepts with practical happenings in organizations.
3. He must be a good mentor than a teacher.  Being a teacher of PG, writing and explaining from slides is just elementary.
4. Be in touch with research outputs in educational institutions
5. He must be provided the platform to update and regain fit through attending conferences/workshops and proper support from his working organization to visit industries for more effective knowledge.
