IT- Analyst – IT Biz Ops/SPO

This person is responsible for the day to day management of the HNBU I/T and is the I/T point person for the Finance and other Business partners.

 

This role is high exposure and will interact with Sr. Director of I/T, Finance and several other Business Directors, therefore solid business partnering skills, presentation, and strong communication skills are required.

 

The role will support the following groups with-in I/T: Solutions Delivery, Business Ops, CA, SC and Shared Service Support groups.

 

Responsibilities include:

ü  Effectively manage an I/T Budget split between OPEX and OCOGS. Responsible for reporting and variance analysis as well as collaboration with Business/Cost Center owners in I/T on forecasting and budgeting.

ü  Setting the monthly forecasts and flashes, quarterly commits and annual budgets for COGS and OPEX.

ü  Work closely with I/T and Business partners in development of annual & quarterly strategies.

ü  Provide a holistic view of the plan including all OCOGS and OPEX related activity and spend.

ü  Monthly close responsibilities such as: close forecasting, tracking PR approvals as related to business partners.

ü  Review, coordinate and consolidate I/T and Business funded accruals.

ü  Run monthly PO/PR report, track each PO spend vs budget, create spending summaries/details.

ü  Act as a Service Lead for Apptio (service costing tool), collaborating financial & service offering data to be uploaded into database & performing data validation of cost models via review of detailed spreadsheet pivots & reports as well as distributing requested cost data to Team leads to be utilized for executive management presentations.

ü  Work with architect to maintain and map assets to service offerings.

ü  Responsible for various month end reporting decks and presentations to business partners and leadership team on monthly results such as : CIO Operational & service review, HNBU IT Operation reviews.

ü  Track and maintain Software licenses, Software and hardware annual maintenance contracts/licenses.

ü  Be a trusted advisor to I/T and Finance organizations.

ü  Perform ad-hoc reporting and develop financial models to analyze "what-if" scenarios.

ü  Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

ü  Maintain & improve interdepartmental communication utilizing Wiki Central.

ü  Develop, manage & maintain appropriate records and process documentation for business reporting activities.

 

This person will need to be able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization including senior management.

 

The ideal candidate will be strong in:

v  Ability to liaise with Business leaders, Operations teams and Finance at all levels

v  Microsoft Excel - Detailed Oriented with Analytical skills

v  Microsoft Powerpoint - General Presentation and Communication skills

v  Hyperion, Oracle, Essbase, Discoverer

v  Apptio
