Direct Client Requirement

Position: WebSphere MQ / MB Administrator
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Boise, ID OR Eden Prairie, MN

The Job Description is as follows:

Candidate should have 7+ years of experience in :

. Installation , Configuration, Optimization & Support of MQ v5.3, v6.0, v7.0
. Installation, Configuration, Optimization & Support of Message Broker v5.0, v6.1, v7.0
. Support Day to Day Administration Needs with the ability to react to emergency situation with trouble shooting expertise.
. Experience with Distributed, Clustered, co-mingled and Cloud environments
. Troubleshoot Infrastructure and Application issues related to MQ/MB
. Perform MQ/MB Performance Monitoring and Tuning
. Migration of MQ/MB from v5.3 to v7.0
. Migration of MQ/MB from v6.0 to v7.0
. Provide infrastructure consulting and support to application development teams
. Architect/design HA for MQ and MB
. Design and Implement security aspects related to MQ (OAM, SSL) and MB (SSL, ACL)
. Own/Prepare Root Cause Analysis for Major incidents/problems
. Assist the team in identifying issues and in preparing Root Cause Analysis for Major incidents/problems.
. Architect/Design Clustering, Work load balancing in client environment.
. Educate the team on new releases of the product
. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED
. Should have at least intermediate (in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) level of Weblogic knowledge.
. Should have good communication and analytical skills.
. Should be open to learn and work on new technologies as and when required.
. Comfortable in 24*7 support
.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
. ITIL Certification
