TPD just had a story on Scientific Metals and how they are much more fair to dentists and labs in recycling precious metals. You deal direct with the company with no middleman at www.scientificmetals.com Usually when the recycling company stops by the office, I get enough cash to buy my associate and myself lunch. I was amazed when I sent in a batch of crowns that had been sitting in my desk in a jar and got an e mail telling me that they were sending me a check and report for over $2000! I have never gotten more than a couple of hundred. You have to check these guys out.
