They are looking for an Oracle DBA with 5-6 years experience and experience with IBM Websphere, Oracle Grid Control, Sybase etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications (Minimum Mandatory capabilities and qualifications)
This candidate is expected to have a lead role in all aspects of administration of Oracle database and related products in large scale user base.
This candidate is expected to have a lead role in all aspects of administration of Oracle database and related products in large scale user base.
The required skills include but not limited to the following:
*Strong experience in supporting Oracle DBMS products including Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Control , Dataguard, ASM
*Strong knowledge of Oracle database technology
*Working experience in Oracle RAC is a plus
*Working experience with Sybase and MS SQL database environments
*Extensive experience supporting complex and integrated application environments, primarily based on IBM Websphere suite and Oracle relational databases
*Experience working with global IT organizations supporting decentralized business operations
*Knowledge of ETL technologies, preferably Informatica
*Knowledge of Reporting technologies, preferably IBM Cognos
*Experience in supporting IT operations using an onsite/offshore delivery model
*Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations.
*Ability to write and maintain technical documentation and procedures
*Good understanding of the Software development lifecycle
*Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently as well as in collaboration with a team
*Ablility to take initiative and work without supervision.
*Ability to work as a effective team member in a multicultural environment is must
*Should have excellent interpersonal skill as well as oral and written communication skill
