Job Title : DB2 DBA

Location : Farmington Hills, Michigan

Duration : Long Term

·         6 to 8 years of experience on DB2 UDB in LUW

·         Good knowledge of DB2 Database in V9  day to day admin on Unix / Linux environment.

·         Solid Knowledge in DB2 Performance & Tuning.

·         Good Knowledge in Backup and Recovery including TSM

·         Good knowledge on HADR implementation.

·         Good exposure on Build, Deployment, Design, Version and Fix pack upgrades of DB2 UDB databases on V9 and upwards

·         Hands-on knowledge on SQL  and query optimization

·         Shell /Perl Scripting knowledge is desirable

·         ITIL framework knowledge is desirable

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills

·         To be flexible and open to work in 24x7 shifts including night shifts

·         To be flexible for on-call support on need basis
