Good  morning, I have been up monitoring the mass arrests without warrant of Southern Cameroonians. The arrests and detentions are designed to dissuade/prevent Southern Cameroonians from expressing themselves on the Independence day of southern Cameroons which comes up in 48 hours ie Monday next. So far I have learnt of the arrest of one activist -Pa Munjo Cosmos of SONAC Street Bamenda and three others. I have visited them at the Central Police Station at Old Town Bamenda and given them bread and sardine with water. The four were arrested late afternoon yesterday and have not had food. I could peep through a hole of their cell door but was not allowed to have any long or detailed discussions with them. I only spoke to Pa Munjo Cosmos. They are in good spirit but find it unacceptable that such treatment could be meted on them just for holding a political opinion that offends the Cameroon government.
