Location:  San Mateo, CA (Local Preferred)

Duration: 3- 6 months

Responsibilities

The Web UI Developers role is to build and maintain user interface solutions for the company's web delivered software applications. This position requires the ability to. Additionally, the Web UI Developer will:

• Build and maintain user interface solutions for web applications
• Create front-end interfaces using advanced HTML/CSS and Javascript
• Implement AJAX and dynamic HTML functionality in jQuery and similar frameworks
• Address UI design issues during software development phases, demonstrating strong user experience analysis, and problem solving skills.

 

Qualifications

• At least Four years of Web Development experience
• Have expert knowledge of standards compliant HTML (including HTML5), CSS (including CSS3) and JavaScript
• Ability to perform cross-browser testing and remediate issues and using browser debugging and development tools such as Firebug
• Knowledge of commonly used web design concepts, practices, and procedures
• Demonstrated understanding of usability, accessibility, security and web standards
• Strong experience using JavaScript and JQuery as demonstrated by previous work
• Understanding of responsive web design
• Ability to hand-code HTML
• Strong working knowledge of a variety of current web technologies and common cross-browser-issues
• Independent and self-motivated with strong initiative
• Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly and independently
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
