Hello All:
I'm volunteering working with my local medical examiners office in a forensic dentist capacity…. having taken a forensic/coding certification course through the F.B.I.
They are severely lacking in ANY dental knowledge which has resulted in, perhaps, mismatches in I.D. of unknown bodies and/or missing persons.
One thing they are lacking in is to taking radiographs of unknown bodies found locally (not that many, but when it happens and is necessary - it is NOT being done).
I've gotten a local dentist to allow us to use his NOMAD when necessary. I also can obtain one or two digital sensors no longer in use.
My problem is obtaining a PC (No Macs at our local M.E.'s office) 'simple' digital radiography program. That is one that just takes the photo and puts it into a template. No fancy imaging, no fancy endo stuff, etc.
Anyone have old software lying around?
Suggestions?
It would be a donation to the Brevard County Florida Medical Examiner's office.
Thanks for your input.
Walter
