iOS/ANDROID Senior Software Engineer

Lisle, IL.

Duration: 12 + months

NO In-person Interview but Still looking for Locals

 

 

Description:

We currently have an immediate need for a Senior Mobile Application Software Engineer that will help lead/guide our iOS/Android Application Development functions. The Senior Engineer will be a very hands-on Developer who will be involved with technical architecture, design, development and support duties while helping mentor other team members towards common project goals. This individual will have in-depth expertise in either iOS devices or Android development.

This position will design, build and develop mobile applications using new technologies (languages, operating systems, tools) to create progressive cutting-edge mobile solutions for clients as well as support and maintain the system environments.

Requirements:

•             Objective-C & iPhone/iPad development AND/OR Java & Android development

•             GUI layout (we have UI designers but you need to be able to build it)

•             Network connectivity (HTTP, raw sockets or otherwise) – The apps we build don't just live on the device but reach out to other systems and hardware.

Any of the following skill sets would be nice to have:

•             Java (Java web stack OR Java Swing on the client side);

•             PHP or C++;

•             MySQL, SQL Server or other relational database experience;

•             Linux/Unix/Mac OS X/Windows – install, configure & make the server dance;

•             Troubleshoot network issues affecting software systems would be greatly helpful, as would ethical hacking certifications and the ability to scale a system from one server to hundreds.
