Candidate Qualifications
Years of Work Experience: 2-5 years
Personal Skills Required:
o Ability to communicate status and issues
o Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate and interact with team members and customers
o Highly self-motivated and flexible
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Ability to manage priorities for timely completion of assignments
o Adherence to standards & audit requirements following the established processes, change control procedures and toolsets
Technical Skills Required:
o 2-5 years of .NET Framework in VB.NET / Oracle experience
o Enterprise grade programming approach with Database Layer, Business Object Layer and Presentation Layer
o Fluent in ASP.NET, XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, ADO.net, SOAP and Web services
o Strong Oracle development experience (SQL, PL/SQL)
o Tools required: Visual Studio, Vault source control
o Technical design documentation skills a must
o Experience using a disciplined Project Development Methodology
o Experience with the Full Life Cycle Development process
Additional Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus:
o Knowledge of XSD, XSLT
o Experience in Visual Basic and Crystal reports
o Fortran, COBOL and Mainframe experience
o Prior experience in the Steel industry
