Yes, Business Education needs autonomy not only for survival but also to achieve functional
efficiency and competitiveness to grow as a distinct institute. But, practically, B-schools in
India do not have freedom to grow and compete. If that is the reality, how can B-schools meet
the expectations of the students and produce quality managers for the industry?.
