Job Title	Mainframe REXX developer

Location	Baltimore, MD
Duration	12+ months
# Positions	Description:   Candidate need to have a total of 9-10 years of minimum exp. Need strong exp with REXX. Selected candidate will undergo Public TRust Background check   ü  The contractor will provide analytical and technical support to SSA with the development of an enhanced user-interface for an Enterprise Wide Application allowing for faceted search functionality; incorporation of additional databases into this application; and the obfuscation of additional data fields within the Application. ü  Activities may include, but are not limited to, the following: ü  Perform software development and maintenance in accordance with SSA's software development lifecycle. ü  Learn and utilize third party vendor tools to implement data privacy. ü  Develop processes and software that safeguard FTI/PII for SSA's programmatic systems. ü  Develop an effective user interface enabling users to identify and direct their data towards the targeted environment. ü  Define and implement the necessary database structures to support additional databases for the Application.     Skills Requirements: Mainframe Development: REXX, JCL, CLIST, SQL for DB2 on the z/OS platform, and COBOL. Experience with Control-M and Compuwares FileAid/Data Solutions or Workbench is preferred, but not required. Experience using formal software development lifecycle. Effective technical writing and oral communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards
