I lectured for Whip Mix in Louisville, KY last week at their Digital Dentistry Forum and was dumbfounded by what I saw. Of course they are a 100 year old company, and EVERYBODY knows who they are, but I had no idea how massive the operation is, how high tech they are, and the number of parts and products they make, all right there in-house. From giant stone pulverizers to Italian screw machines and titanium milling machines, they have it all.
If you like to see where the stone, investment, equipment and articulators are made, I posted an album on FaceBook. It's in the Dental Technicians Forum, so you may need to join to see them. We have over 1300 members, from all over the world.
